"Best" motor mounts

Density Line Mounts:

034Motorsport Density Line Mounts are a durable and cost-effective engine mount upgrade option, and use higher durometer rubber than stock. While the damping medium of the stock mounts is fluid-filled or has voids, our mounts feature solid rubber to prevent collapse and improve performance. Density Line Mounts also have improved metal bodies that are made from steel instead of aluminum to prevent cracking and separation, which is common on the factory mounts.

I just wanted to post this cutaway here, because it explains what separates our Density Line Mounts from factory and OE replacement mounts. While they look very similar on the outside, the difference in performance and durability comes from the materials used to make them, and what's going on on the inside. Since we can't expect you to cut your brand new mounts apart to see for yourself, we made this neat comparison with a factory B5 Audi S4 mount and our Street Density mount.034Motorsport Density Line Mounts are a durable and cost-effective engine mount upgrade option, and use higher durometer rubber than stock. Paint is normal on OE parts, so the ones you have were likely brand new.I think you'd be pleasantly surprised if you tried our Street Density engine mount pair. Rubber is a much better damping medium in this application, and even enthusiasts who are sensitive to NVH have been pleased with Street Density: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...1#post I've driven and ridden in cars with lots of different mount setups, and run the Street Density ones myself, because I think they're the best motor mounts for this platform on daily-driven cars.
