What types of core materials can your panels have?

We work with a wide variety of core substrates, but our specialty is aluminum honeycomb.  Polycarbonate foam, aluminum plywood, polypropylene and paper are the other materials used as core.

YES.  Check the menu for our online store with a large selection of panel types, thicknesses, materials and sizes.

How large of a panel can you manufacture ?

To date, we have manufactured panels as large as 60&#; x 300&#; with no seams on the exterior side of the panel.

Encocam, the parent company of Corex Honeycomb was established in by Mike Ashmead, as a producer of aluminium honeycomb composite sandwich panels. The business expanded into many related areas including energy absorption and safety testing solutions. In order to reduce its reliance on external suppliers, Encocam began manufacturing its own aluminium honeycomb, used primarily in the production of energy absorbers and crash test barriers; Corex Honeycomb was founded and the supply of aluminium honeycomb to external companies began. The origin of the name comes from the core strength of the honeycomb structure made when sheets of aluminium are bonded together and then expanded.
